2024 West Coast Selene Owners' Rendezvous - Highlights
Roche Harbor, Wa.

This annual event was a special rendezvous, a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Selene Yachts, with Howard Chen and Selene Yachts Americas in attendance showcasing a brand new Selene 60 Ocean Explorer.

Technical Seminars

Industry experts were in attendance providing classroom presentations and physical demonstrations ranging from marine safety to new technologies.

Day 1 was a presentation on Marine Safety and Survival Training presented by Kennedy Menendez of  Alaska Marine Safety Training (AMSEA).
Day 2 started with Can-Do-Ology by Denise Gabel, followed by an update from Mark Tilden on the Selene Owners' Association.  Wrapping up the day was a presentation from Selene Americas and a discussion with Howard Chen.
Day 3 closed with a variety of topics starting off with Patrick Noor from Dynamic Marine Systems, Rhiannon Silvashy of VesselVanguard, Roger Fellows of Inov8v.  Jeff Merrill shared perspectives about Pride of Ownership and Alex Benson share his insights about Cruising to Southeast Alaska.

Social Time

No rendezvous is complete without time to share a meal, enjoy conversations, and make new friends.  A variety of social events were enjoyed starting with a Welcome event hosted by WIT Cellars followed by a music jam session.  The attendees pooled their favorite dishes for a potluck dinner on Friday.  Saturday was a feast hosted by Market Chef serving a catered lunch and lovely dinner.
