Flojet pressure switch

I replaced the pump on mine with a larger pump the hard part was changing the breaker from 15 amp to 25 amp at the panel. If your pump is in the engine room like mine is, there should be a thru hull valve and strainer on the intake side of the pump and the other side goes to the deck valve. There will be a quart or two of water from the deck valve to the pump so you may have to catch that when you disconnect the pump. Usually Flojet pumps have a quick disconnect so you don’t have to take off any hose clamps. You will most likely have to dismount the pump so you can get at the pressure switch. Remember to shut the thru hull valve first. You have probably already done the fix but if not hope this helps.

I need to replace the pressure switch in my anchor wash pump. Got the OEM part, does anyone know if removing it will drain the line?
