Looking for help/recommendations on replacing masthead/anchor light. We discovered our anchor light was no longer working and the housing was cracked beyond repair. The one we had is no longer being made so after research, we bought a signal mate LED combo masthead/anchor light. I believed this would be 'plug and play'; however, as in most things boat it is not that easy! after wiring it and putting in the double pole/double throw switch to do the masthead (steaming) lights (1 forward facing) and the anchor (2 forward plus the rear facing LED for 360) I am stuck with the issue that in order to have all three lights on the mast switched on, the green/red and stern navigation lights are also on. There are 4 wires into the switch, ground, positive, anchor and navigation and I have wired them per diagram and conversations with Signal Mate support.
I am in the process of tracing wires back to the panel to find where the navigation lights split off from the anchor light to see if I can put a separate switch for the side and stern lights in line but I am hoping that someone has experience with this issue or has a recommendation for a replacement light that has separate navigation and anchor lights as opposed to the Signal Mate that is a combination set up.
