Try RMR spray.  Not cheap, but it has worked for us with spiders north of Annapolis Harbor.

Spider poop is real bad at AYB.  Starbrite makes Spider Away.  It doesn't work great, but the best I've found.  It makes black spots turn light brown.

The good news is that a few days in bright sun will make the light brown spots go away.

Spiders are usually a problem where there is fresh water.  They usually aren't a problem when the water is salty.  Worst I've seen is at AYB and Capital Yacht Club in DC.
