As always, you are a fantastic facilitator and problem solver. Thank you for your work launching the SMOG Forum.

We all love our Selene Yachts, and we all have our own special interests (cruising, fishing, sight seeing, photography, swimming, diving, travel, hiking, biking, crafting, motorcycling, E-biking, cooking, bartending, drinking, eating out, fixing what is broke, maybe just chillin’, or something else or some combination thereof). I for one celebrate that wonderful diversity. Your very kind invitation to create the SMOG forum is much appreciated.

I am proud to announce that there will be soon determined a Founding Fathers (FF) designation in SMOG, recognizing the founders of the Gang. They are close to being recognized. The first individual to be announced worked hard with me on the logo for SMOG, still a work in progress - it will be perfect when completed. He has reached out several times recently to inquire about SMOG and its formation, offering financial or other support if needed. The supporter has jumped into conversations with me to push the concept forward. Then today he asked if I could help him get a motorcycle license in the USA so that he can ride with us.

I am pleased and honored to announce that the First Founding Father of SMOG is Howard Chen, a friend who builds a real nice boat, loves motorcycles, and wants a license to cruise with us in the USA. To Howard, I say - Roll on Brother!

Hey Selene Friends:

Today we launched the new "SMOG" (Selene Motorcycle Owner's Gang) forum. Yes....it's "gang" at the specific request of Jack Burgess, who is the grand poobah of SMOG.

It's a public forum, available to anyone to read even without logging in. However, it's not an "automatic" forum like most of the others. That means that if you're interested, you'll need to subscribe to it in order to get email notifications of postings. Like all the other forums, you can choose to receive either immediate individual emails with each posting, or you can choose to receive a daily digest of all the postings in that forum today.

Just to be clear, everybody can read and even respond to the forum on the website, but if you want to receive the posts via email you'll need to subscribe.

Here's how you can subscribe:

1. Login to the website: https://www.seleneowners.org/

2. Click the "Forums" menu item at the top of the home page.

3. Click the "My Forum Memberships" button at the top of the forums list page.

4. Scroll down the page to the section titled "Optional Forums".

5. To subscribe to receive postings via email click the little green "On" button on the right edge of the screen.

6. By default, you'll receive each posting immediately as a separate email. If you want to change the setting to Daily Digest (or change any of the other delivery options), click the Pencil icon on the right edge, next to where the green "on" button was (which should now be a read "off" button). Change your delivery options for this specific forum and then click "Save"

You can un-subscribe to the forum emails by coming back to the forum list page and clicking the read "off" button at any time. Note that unsubscribing from emails won't change your ability to read and/or respond to posts on the website. It will simply change whether or not you will receive emails from this forum.
