Biography
Roseanne and I are passionate followers/apprentices of Jesus Christ. That's why our boat is named "Koinonia",
which is an ancient Greek word in the dialect of Greek the New Testament was written in. It's generally translated
"friendship" or "fellowship" in the New Testament. One of the biggest reasons we love being on the boat is the
relationships we are able to form and nurture while on the water in beautiful places.
While we are passionate about following Jesus, and love talking about how he is the center of our lives, we are
also very willing to accept others who have different beliefs.
I am a retired electrical engineer, having worked for a fortune-500 electronics company for 17 years and then
started, ran, and sold two internet software companies in the travel technology space.
I'm also a USCG licensed captain, holding a 200-ton Oceans class license with a sailing endorsement. I don't
really need the license professionally, but the training and proof of experience it required was both helpful and
fulfilling for me.
Roseanne loves crafting--mostly making really unique and elaborate greeting cards. When we go
cruising for a few months at a time, she usually takes over either the flybridge or the saloon with her crafting stuff.
